Defining relative clauses

Give each student a copy of the handout. Allow a few minutes for them to choose four or more subjects to write a few brief notes in the boxes, then put students into pairs to discuss their answers.

an object which you’d like to buy

a place where you’d like to go for a day trip










a place where you were very happy as a child

     2   Talk to your partner about what you have written and explain why you wrote it.
